Ondes PRO for ecommerce: an AI that knows your store
You sell online, and your days are a juggling act between orders, stock, customer emails and the next promotion. With Ondes PRO’s MCP server, your AI assistant reads your store, inventory and inbox directly, and gets the groundwork done for you. You keep the final say: nothing reaches a customer without your approval.
A day in an online store, with an AI assistant
8:30am. Before opening a single screen, you ask your assistant how the weekend went. It adds up the orders, spots the best seller and flags the items dropping below their alert threshold. The summary fits in five lines.
10am. A customer is worried about a parcel that has not shown up. The assistant finds the order, reads the shipment tracking and drafts a reply. You read it, tweak a word, and it goes out from your contact address.
2pm. You want to clear the bedside lamps before the new collection lands. You describe the promotion in one sentence; the assistant sets up the promo code with its end date and usage cap, then drafts an Instagram post.
5pm. One last check: this week’s abandoned carts. The assistant prepares a draft reminder automation. You open it in the admin, adjust it, and you are the one who publishes it.
Monday’s catch-up in a single question
Ondes PRO’s built-in assistant can cross-reference orders, carts and stock. Your AI asks it and hands you the summary.
How do you connect an AI to your online store?
Your Ondes PRO store lives at an address like your-workspace.ondes.pro. The MCP server sits at the same address followed by /mcp/. In your assistant, you add a connector with that address, sign in with your Ondes PRO credentials, and that is it: no plugin to install, no export to schedule.
Step-by-step instructions are on each assistant’s page, for example connect Ondes PRO to Claude. For day-to-day use as a business owner, Claude and ChatGPT are the easiest; your developer may prefer Cursor or Visual Studio Code.
Customer service without copy and paste
When a message is headed for a customer, the server starts with a dry run and always states whether the send was a test or real.
What AI does for an online store
- Track sales: today’s revenue, best sellers, orders waiting to ship, without opening a dashboard — see the online store.
- Head off stock-outs: stock levels, alert thresholds, deliveries to record — see inventory management.
- Drive sales: promo codes, product, price or description updates.
- Answer customers: find the right message, read the parcel tracking, draft a reply — see email.
- Follow up automatically: prepare an abandoned-cart or reminder automation that you publish yourself — see automations.
- Build loyalty: enrich a business customer’s record after a conversation — see the CRM.
Already have a website? Connect it to the store
If your site is already live and you do not want to rebuild it, the “Connect my website” feature hands the store integration to an AI agent that works inside your site’s code repository. It asks its questions before writing, shows you what it changed, and nothing is saved to the site until you decide. The full process is in the connect your website guide.
How much does AI cost for an online store?
The MCP server is included in every Ondes PRO plan, along with every module: store, inventory, invoicing, email, automations. There is no connector to buy and no per-run workflow billing. You simply keep the subscription for the AI assistant of your choice. Plans are detailed on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions
Can I connect ChatGPT or Claude to my online store?
Yes, if the store runs on Ondes PRO: its MCP server accepts any assistant that supports the protocol, including Claude and ChatGPT in developer mode. The assistant then reads orders, products and stock with your permissions.
Can the assistant place a real order or take a payment?
Not by default: an order created by the AI goes to test mode, with no real payment, and the response says so. Writing for real requires an explicit instruction, and payments always go through your store’s Stripe account.
Is my customer data sent to the AI vendor?
Ondes PRO sends nothing on its own: the assistant reads what it needs to answer you. What happens to the conversation afterwards depends on the assistant you choose and its privacy settings. Your data stays hosted in France in your dedicated instance.
Can an employee use the AI without seeing revenue figures?
Yes. The connection follows the person’s role: if their role does not open statistics or invoicing, the assistant cannot see them. For even narrower access, an API key limited to certain modules can replace the credential-based connection.
Can the AI publish a reminder automation on its own?
Not without you. It prepares a draft automation; connected with an API key, it is not even allowed to publish. Since the flow will then act on your behalf, we recommend publishing it yourself in the Ondes PRO admin, after review.
Do I need a developer to set this up?
No. You paste your workspace address into your assistant’s connector settings and sign in. A developer is only useful to integrate the store into an existing website or build a custom integration.
