Ondes PRO MCP server
AI inside your business software, industry by industry
An MCP server connects your AI assistant to your real data. The harder question is what to ask it on a Monday morning. Whether you run an online store, an agency, a workshop or a factory, here is what an assistant plugged into your whole Ondes PRO business changes — with everyday examples and no jargon.
Why one MCP server for the whole business, not one per tool?
Many products that ship an MCP server cover a single area: invoicing, the CRM or the store. Your assistant then sees fragments of your business that do not talk to each other, and you are left connecting the order, the stock and the invoice yourself.
In Ondes PRO, the store, inventory, invoicing, CRM, projects, calendar and email live in the same instance, hosted in France and dedicated to your company. One connection is enough for a request to cross several modules: “check we can deliver, draft the quote and hold the date”. How it works is explained on the MCP server page.
How do different businesses use AI?
Four profiles, four ways of working. Each row links to a detailed page with a typical day and simulated conversations.
| Business | Most used modules | Example request |
|---|---|---|
| Ecommerce | Store, inventory, email, automations | “Sum up the weekend’s sales and tell me what is about to run out.” |
| Web agencies and IT services | API, store test mode, Kanban, website integration | “Which route creates a paid order? Try it in test mode.” |
| Small businesses and trades | Invoicing, calendar, CRM | “Write up the quote for this morning’s job and send it for signature.” |
| Manufacturers | Inventory, bills of materials, production orders | “How many floor lamps can we assemble from current stock?” |
What stays the same in every industry
Whatever you do, the same rules protect your data.
- Your permissions, nothing more: the assistant only reaches the modules your role opens. A colleague without access to invoicing will not see it through AI either.
- No irreversible surprises: sensitive writes go to test mode or a dry run first, and the built-in assistant proposes a plan you confirm.
- Your companies stay apart: with a parent company and subsidiaries, the AI targets the one you name and never mixes their data.
- Any connection can be cut in one click: every connected device is listed by name and can be revoked instantly. Details are on the MCP server security page.
Do I need to be technical?
No, unless you are a developer yourself. A business owner pastes their workspace address into their assistant’s settings — Claude or ChatGPT, for instance — and signs in with their usual credentials. From then on, they talk to it like a colleague. Step-by-step instructions for each assistant are on the MCP clients page.
Agencies and developers go further: they use it to write integrations without opening the documentation, because the server hands it over on demand, up to date and limited to what actually exists in the client’s workspace.

Frequently asked questions
What is an MCP server used for in a small business?
It lets an AI assistant read and update the data in your business software — orders, stock, quotes, invoices, projects — instead of you copying it into the chat. With Ondes PRO, one connection covers every module of your company.
Is the MCP server part of the subscription?
Yes. It is included in every Ondes PRO plan (Essentiel, Pro and Entreprise), with all modules and no add-on. Prices are on the pricing page.
Can an MCP server connect to my CRM and my invoicing at the same time?
With Ondes PRO, yes: CRM, invoicing, store, inventory and projects sit in the same instance, behind the same MCP server. The assistant can, for example, find a customer, check their invoices and create a follow-up task in a single request.
Can the AI make a mistake in my data?
A model can get things wrong, which is why the server does not rely on it: writes that support it go to test mode by default, a dry run validates a request without saving anything, and the built-in assistant submits its changes for your approval before running them.
