What can you automate in Ondes PRO with a single sentence?

Every automation follows the same shape: a trigger (a paid order, an invoice going overdue, stock crossing its threshold, a customer inactive for three months, a quote about to expire, a Kanban task moved…) followed by steps — wait, check a condition, send an email, update a customer record, add a calendar event, alert the team on Telegram or call another piece of software.

You do not have to assemble those pieces yourself. You write what you want to achieve, and the AI turns your sentence into a sequence of steps, with emails already drafted in your name. The result is always a draft: it does nothing until you publish it.

Create an automation from one sentence, step by step

Example: Inès Roche, who runs Atelier Lumen, wants to remind store customers about carts they left behind.

  1. Open automations

    In your admin, open Automations, or type “New automation” in search (⌘K). Your role needs to include the module.

  2. Describe what you want

    Write it the way you would tell a colleague: “When a customer abandons their cart, send a reminder after 4 hours, then a 10% code two days later if they still haven’t ordered.”

  3. Review the proposed draft

    The AI returns a vertical flow: the “abandoned cart” trigger, a 4-hour wait, a first email, a two-day wait, a “has ordered since?” condition, then the second email. Any building block it does not recognise is removed and flagged, never made up.

  4. Adjust the tone and the timing

    Edit the copy, choose the sender and set the sending window (say 9am–7pm): an email due outside the window waits for the next slot, and the condition is checked again right before sending.

  5. Test on a real case

    The Test button runs the automation without writing or sending anything. The preview can use an actual cart from your store, so you see the email exactly as the customer would receive it.

  6. Publish, then watch the results

    Publishing stays in your hands. Once live, each step shows its counters — people who went through, emails opened, links clicked, people waiting — so you know whether the reminder works.

Chase overdue invoices without thinking about it

In Ondes PRO an invoice is “overdue” as soon as its due date has passed and it is unpaid: nobody has to flag it. The “overdue invoice” trigger relies on that calculation. A sentence such as “send a polite reminder after 7 days, a firmer one 10 days later, and tell me if nothing has moved” produces a complete draft, with a “still unpaid?” condition re-checked before every send.

For a one-off chase, the invoice list also offers a bulk action: tick the invoices, and only those genuinely overdue receive the reminder. And if a customer pays in the meantime, the “still unpaid” condition drops them before the next reminder.

From Claude, connected to your workspace

You can also go through the AI assistant you already use: connected to your workspace’s MCP server, it passes the request to Ondes PRO’s built-in assistant, which proposes a plan before writing anything.

Get a clear report every morning

The most common need takes no automation at all: on working days, Ondes PRO sends one morning email that gathers overdue tasks, upcoming deadlines and, when there is something worth flagging, a briefing written by the AI. When there is nothing, nothing is sent — no “all quiet” message that eventually stops being read.

For a one-off question — “give me this week’s sales and the orders not shipped yet” — ask the built-in assistant or your assistant connected over MCP. It combines store, invoicing and stock in one answer, using only the data your role lets you see.

Why the AI cannot do damage

  • Always a draft: whatever the AI creates does nothing until you publish it.
  • A plan before any write: the built-in assistant spells out what it is about to do, including which company, and waits for your confirmation.
  • A test that writes nothing: the Test button simulates the whole flow without sending a single email.
  • Your permissions, no more: an automation acts with the permissions of the person who activated it, re-checked before every action. If those permissions go away, it pauses and you are notified.
  • Sending safeguards: a customer gets at most one promotional email per 24 hours from other automations, every promotional email carries an unsubscribe link, and a bulk order import triggers no reminders.
