# Ondes PRO plugs into the tools you already use

> Connect Ondes PRO to your AI through an MCP server, to your software through the REST API, to Stripe for payments and to GitHub for your website. All included.

Business software never works in isolation. Ondes PRO opens up to your **AI assistant** through an MCP server, to your developers through a documented **REST API**, to **Stripe** to take payments in your online store, and to **GitHub** to publish or evolve your website. Each workspace is a dedicated instance hosted in France, so every one of these doors leads to your data, under your access rules.

## Featured: the MCP server

- [MCP server](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/mcp) — Plug the AI assistant of your choice into your whole business, with your permissions and nothing more.

- **1** — MCP server for the whole business, not one per app
- **~135** — REST resources exposed by API v1
- **2,700** — tokens of assistant context, versus 44,000 for the old documentation file
- **3** — plans, with every integration in each of them

## Why connect an AI assistant to your business software?

Because most questions a small-business owner asks cut across departments: “Has this customer paid their last invoice before I send a new quote?”, “Do I have the stock to fulfil this order?”. In Ondes PRO, store, inventory, invoicing, CRM, Kanban and calendar share one database, so an assistant connected through the [MCP server](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/mcp) can answer in one go, from live figures.

The protocol is an open standard, so the choice of assistant stays yours. Our team has tested [Claude](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/mcp/clients/claude) end to end; other standard MCP-compatible clients such as [Cursor](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/mcp/clients/cursor) or [ChatGPT](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/mcp/clients/chatgpt) follow the same steps. For the background, read [what the Model Context Protocol is](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/mcp/what-is-mcp).

## Other integrations

- [REST API v1](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/rest-api) — Around 135 REST resources, scoped keys, an OpenAPI schema and signed webhooks.
- [Stripe](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/stripe) — Take store payments into your own Stripe account, company by company.
- [GitHub](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/github) — Publish a static site from a GitHub repository, or have the store built into your existing site.

## Which integration fits your use case?

| Need | Integration | Who it is for |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Ask a business question, draft a quote in plain language | [MCP server](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/mcp) | Owners, teams, developers |
| Sync an ERP, a website or an in-house app | [REST API v1](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/rest-api) | Developers and integrators |
| Take payments for online store orders | [Stripe](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/stripe) | Merchants |
| Host a static site or add the store to it | [GitHub](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/github) | Merchants and agencies |
| Get notified of events (order paid, invoice issued…) | Signed webhooks from the [API](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/rest-api) | Developers |

## MCP vs REST API: do you have to pick one?

No — both stand on the same foundation. The MCP server reimplements nothing: when the assistant writes, it calls the real API v1 route, with the same permission checks, the same idempotency and the same isolation between companies. MCP is for conversation and exploration; the API is for programming a sync that runs unattended.

Developers often use both: they connect their code editor to the MCP server, which serves your workspace’s exact documentation, then write a connector that talks to the REST API. The full comparison lives on the [MCP vs REST API](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/mcp/mcp-vs-rest-api) page.

## One set of security rules for every integration

- **Your permissions, no more**: an MCP connection or API key never reaches what your role does not open.
- **Narrow-scoped keys**: an API key can be limited to reading a single module.
- **Application secrets stay with the platform**: the GitHub app secret and the Stripe Connect platform key are managed by Ondes PRO, never copied into your workspace.
- **Harmless trials**: orders, meetings, email sends and invitations have a test mode.
- **Sealed companies**: a subsidiary never sees a sister company’s data, whichever door it comes through.

> **What about Zapier, Make or n8n?** — Those platforms connect third-party software through scenarios you build yourself. They remain useful alongside Ondes PRO, which exposes its business data and actions directly, with no scenario to maintain. The differences are laid out, with sources, on the [MCP vs Zapier, Make, n8n](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/mcp/mcp-vs-zapier-make-n8n) page.

## Where to start

- [MCP clients](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/mcp/clients) — Which AI assistant to plug into your workspace, and where each one sets up the connection.
- [Modules available over MCP](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/mcp/modules) — Eleven business modules behind one MCP server: what the assistant can read and do in each.
- [Build an integration](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/mcp/guides/build-an-integration) — Scoped keys, signed webhooks, idempotency and test mode for a back office that never creates duplicates.
- [MCP server security](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/mcp/security) — OAuth 2.1, short-lived tokens, instant revocation and write safeguards: what your IT team needs to know.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do integrations cost extra?

No. The MCP server, REST API v1, Stripe connection and GitHub connection are included in all three Ondes PRO plans: Essentiel, Pro and Entreprise. See [pricing](https://ondes.pro/en/pricing).

### Do I need to code to use these integrations?

Not for the MCP server with Claude or ChatGPT, nor to connect Stripe or GitHub: it all takes a few clicks, in the assistant’s settings or in the admin. The REST API, on the other hand, is meant for a developer or an agency.

### Where is my data when an integration reads it?

It stays in your dedicated instance, hosted in France. An integration reads what it needs when it needs it; what happens to that information afterwards depends on the third-party tool you chose.

### Can Ondes PRO connect to an existing ERP or business app?

Yes, through the [REST API v1](https://ondes.pro/en/integrations/rest-api): around 135 resources (products, orders, stock, quotes, invoices, CRM records…) plus signed webhooks to hear about changes. A developer can lean on the MCP server to get your workspace’s exact documentation.

### Can I switch an integration off at any time?

Yes. An MCP connection is revoked from the MCP tab in API & Developers, an API key can be suspended or revoked, and both Stripe and GitHub disconnect from the admin.
